Event Progress Report 10
I've been thinking some more about my event, obviously, and I've reached a few conclusions about the audience. It's clear from talking to my contacts, that both the Shakespeare in the Park, and the Presdio Park in general, would both like more people to attend the event. Clearly, this is not groundbreaking, but it's important to note because at first it seemed like they were happy with the turnout and classified it as a success. I get the sense that it's a younger crowd that they are missing, and it might be worth targeting this demographic in particular. The reason for this is because a lot of people are currently reached via mailings and newsletters etc. These types of publicity avenues tend to reach older people that are part of the Presidio's community and are already supporting the park in some fashion. It's the people that aren't part of these circles that I need to go after- which is great because this is the same demographic that feels comfortable on the web and will be used to this form of communication. As I tackle my mood boards, I am going to try and take these notes into account.
